Traditional BSN

Traditional BSN

To enter the professional component of the nursing program, students must first complete the pre-professional component. However, enrolling as a nursing major in the pre-professional phase does not guarantee admission into the professional component.

The College of Nursing Admissions Committee, in collaboration with the Dean, selects candidates who demonstrate the strongest qualifications and the greatest potential for success in the field of nursing. Admission to the professional component is both competitive and limited.

The program welcomes students of all backgrounds, admitting candidates without discrimination based on race, color, creed, national origin, sex, or qualified disability. Additionally, applicants must be in good academic standing with all institutions or nursing programs previously attended to qualify for admission to the BSN program.
